San Domenico (the Convent and Church of St. Dominic) dates back to the 13th century. To the left of the main altar is the Chapel of Graces where, on May 28, 1922, Pier Giorgio took his vows as a lay Dominican and chose the name Fra Girolamo Savonarola.
